Hoists That We Hire

300kg Geda Goods Hoist

Why Choose the GEDA 300 Z?

Space-Saving Design: With its narrow profile, the 300 Z thrives in tight scaffolding gantries and narrow driveways, ensuring you can get materials where they need to be, even in restricted city-centre locations.

Safety and Precision: Features a 90° swivel platform, allowing for safe and effortless unloading directly onto the landing level. Combined with an integrated safety brake and overload protection, your team can work with total peace of mind.

Fast and Flexible: Capable of lifting 300 kg at speeds of up to 30 m/min, this hoist can reach heights of up to 100 meters. Plus, with options for both 230V and 400V power, it adapts to the specific electrical setup of your site.

Rapid Deployment: The lightweight aluminium mast sections are designed for quick and easy assembly, minimizing downtime and getting your project moving faster.

Ready to lift your project to the next level? At Triton Scaffolding and Hoist Hire, we offer the GEDA 300 Z at extremely competitive rates with the quick response times our customers have relied on for over 30 years.

200kg Steinweg Hoists

The Steinweg Superlift 200 Z (and its counterpart, the Winch Boy) is a legendary bit of kit in the scaffolding world. Known for being lightweight and nearly indestructible, it’s the go-to for smaller sites or residential projects where you need to move a few hundred kilos without bringing in a massive rig.

Since Steinweg and Böcker merged, these units are often referred to as the Böcker/Steinweg Superlift.

The Steinweg Superlift 200 Z: Effortless Efficiency
The 200 Z is specifically engineered for quick-turnaround jobs. It’s light enough to be handled easily on-site but robust enough to handle the daily grind of a busy renovation or scaffolding project.

Two Steinweg Superlift 200 Z Hoists Setup

Technical Specifications:
Load Capacity: 200 kg
Lifting Speed: 25 m/min
Max. Lifting Height: 50 m
Platform Dimensions: 1.40 m x 0.80 m
Power Requirement: 230V (Single Phase)
Drive System: Rack and Pinion
Mast Type: 2m or 1m Aluminium Sections (approx. 24kg each)

Why It’s a Site Favourite
Single-Phase Convenience: Because it runs on 230V, you can plug it into a standard building ring circuit or a 10kVA generator, making it ideal for residential work where 3-phase power isn’t an option.

Featherweight Mast Sections: The aluminium mast sections weigh only about 24kg, meaning a single person can assemble the hoist while standing safely on the platform.

The “Barrow” Platform: The cage size is perfectly optimized to take a standard wheelbarrow, making it a dream for roofers moving tiles or internal fit-out teams moving screed and mortar.

Safe Unloading: Like its larger cousins, it features a swivelling platform so you can swing the load safely onto the scaffolding level, keeping your team away from the edge.

Elephant Hoists

For precision lifting in tight spaces, our Elephant BETA series is the ultimate choice. Known as the ‘compact powerhouse’ of the industry, these Japanese-made hoists offer 200kg of lifting capacity in a frame light enough to fit in your tool bag. Perfect for rapid material movement and high-precision tasks where larger hoists simply won’t fit.

Unmatched Portability: Weighing only around 7.5kg, your team can carry this hoist up a ladder in one hand. It eliminates the need for heavy installation teams.

Tough Japanese Engineering: Manufactured in Japan, Elephant hoists are designed for “extra heavy-duty” applications. They are built to withstand the grit and dust of a live construction site.

Safety First: Every unit comes with an automatic overload protection device and a chain container to prevent snagging. The electromagnetic DC brake ensures the load stops instantly.

Low Headroom: With a closed headroom of only 280mm, it’s perfect for working in confined spaces or under low-slung scaffolding beams where every inch of height matters.

This amazing bit of kit is perfect for tight and small spaces. It’s working area can be as small as half a meter!

Here is a list of attachments, designed to make your life even easier!

  • Bucket for easy to tip and handle.
  • Wheel barrow, land it on the scaffold and unhook it and away you go!
  • Hook for easy to use, attach and lift!
